as in i have watched shows that are FILLED with references but i just dont get them (like someone shouting at a traitor, "YOU LANDO!!!') [yeah thats starwars=(]

and yeah obviously i get the obvious ones from crap like family guy and stuff, where the character really comes out and say stuff. hahhaa. or quotes like you feelin' lucky, punk? or i pity the foo'! hahaha OBVIOUS

so yeah it was from UGLY BETTY. like she was retelling her prom day, where she and her nerd friend had an 'anti-prom'. they just sat in their prom dresses and watched a movie at her home

but halfway the friend had to leave cos her crush called her out to go for the prom

betty was like noo you cant do this!! the friend was like "you would NEVER get a bf!! bwahhaa" she then pulls a dangling rope next to her and a bucket falls from the ceiling and blood falls all over betty and she cries and screams with the red blood slime all over her face

hahhaa. then back to reality the sister butts in and said 'i was there, and there was no pig's blood!' and went to tell the true story (where the friend was apologetic and betty angry)

ahaha i got it when i saw the string. the whole prom and outcast thing. ahahaha. oh and we dont see whats on the screen, but the movie they were watching before that was most likey the referenced movie 'carrie'. cos the sister walked in and said 'woah john travolta is so hot... what happened to him now?!"

alright man finally a slightly obscure (for my age!!) reference that i didnt need to check out on wiki or something. hahhaha
